Founded by wife and mom duo Tiff + Riss Dezort, Eastside Roasterz is more than just a café—it's a love letter to coffee, family, and the vibrant city of Detroit. 

Riss spent her youth in Bavarian Germany and Washington D.C. where she first developed a love of coffee. She brings years of experience and a meticulous eye for quality to every batch of beans. In her 12+ years in coffee roasting and shop operations, she has helped others start and run their shops. Her deep knowledge and dedication ensures each cup served at Eastside Roasterz is a testament to the art of specialty coffee. 

A native of Detroit’s east side, Tiff comes from the world of philanthropy, infusing Eastside Roasterz with passion, purpose and fun. She attributes her love of coffee to Riss, as well as sleepless nights nursing their little one. Tiff’s commitment to celebrating motherhood and fostering connections shines through in every aspect of the business - including their uniquely named and flavored specialty drinks!
